A: By booking using this website you are dealing directly with the accommodation provider, which gives you more control over your booking.

Q: What is the earliest I can Check-in?
A: Standard check-in time is 2pm.

Q: Can I arrive late?
A: Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 9.30pm, we can supply you with a safe number to retrieve your room key upon arrival. Instructions will be supplied at this time.

Q: Are rooms ground floor?
A: Yes all rooms at the Sir Francis Drake are ground floor & parking is directly in front of your room.

Q: Do you have trailer/truck parking?
A: Yes we can cater for trailers, trucks and buses, all parked onsite.

Q: Are your rooms non-smoking?
A: Yes, all rooms at Sir Francis Drake Inn are non-smoking.

Q: Do you have a restaurant?
A: Yes we have a restaurant onsite.

Q: Do you have wifi?
A: Yes we do. We have free wifi for both the rooms and the public areas. Ask the receptionists for further instructions while checking in.

Q: How close are you to the shops?
A: 5 minutes by car to Raymond Terrace Shopping Centre.

Q: Where can I go to have something to eat?
A: There are a couple of choices. Chinese restaurant next door (3-minute walk), McDonald’s, Subway, Fish and Chips across the road, Heatherbrae Pie and KFC.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: Free Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the arrival date. Otherwise, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

Q: How do I guarantee by booking?
A: Credit card details are required to secure room booking.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Credit Cards and Eftpos.

Q: Are there any surcharges for using credit cards?
A: Yes – this only applies to American Express & Diners Club. These incur a 3% surcharge.
